Bulevar Mihajla Pupina 1, Novi Sad, Serbia
Ksenija Bulatović
2004/2005
Reconstruction of the building “Sad Novi Bazaar” in Novi Sad (originally built from 1968 – 1972 by an architect Milan Mihelič) includes smaller changes in construction, renewing the old facades and innovations in the interior. The function of the building has been changed, so a new interior project has been made.
By the day, facade is animated through the game of lights and shadows, and by the night, with using coloured lights wich breathe life into the building.
Various interior elements such as the fountain, atriums, panoramic lift, escalators, decorative elements, etc. as well as the use of different effects refined the interior of the building, which is in harmony with its exterior.
The used architectural shapes are making the modern appearance of the existing building.
